Will and Jada didn’t feel like they “knew” each other
On her “Red Table Talk” show, Jada admitted that she does not know Will at all. “I just have to be honest. One of the things I noticed, I suppose, was that I don’t know Will at all, ” she revealed.
What did they learn during this Quarantine time?
The topic came up after Jadaasked the guests Pastor John Gray and his wife, Aventer Gray, what they had learned during this time.
She said there’s a point in life where you get busy and make those stories in your head, and then you stick to those stories, and that’s the concept of your partner; it’s not who your partner is.
She replied, am learning to be friends with “me and my husband.”
While the two share two children and have been married for decades, Pinkett Smith said the two are “going through the process of blending all of Will ‘s stories and thoughts,” to know about him.
Jada and Will discovered that, if they could take the time to get to know each other again, this feeling of isolation would soon pass.
They’re learning to love themselves first, then to love each other as friends
Marriage may be a two-way path, but that doesn’t mean that your own ambitions and desires are worthless. “Will and I have started taking the time to learn how to love oneself and build a friendship along the way”.
