Some things are extraordinary, and no matter you are a style statement to the current generation. Some accessories and things just stay with you. Jennifer Lopez attracted her fashion A-game to her first red carpet of the decade.
Award show attire for Jennifer Lopez
The 50-year-old celebrity was honored with the Palm Springs Film Festival Gala’s Spotlight Award for her performance in Hustlers. She radiated glamour as she mimicked a strapless high-low Richard Quinn dress covered in a pretty pastel pink and green floral print. The feminine gown featured a full skirt and long train that added an element of drama to the appearance.
Lopez accessorized the gown with a Tyler Ellis envelope clutch and a matching baby pink Casadei pumps. What made a statement were the glitzy (and sentimental) earrings she wore that was on full display due to the sleek bun up-do hairstylist Chris Appleton created.
To complete the look, Lopez wore the opulent earrings which the fiancé Alex Rodriguez, 44, of the talented star gifted her on Christmas. The earrings had five diamonds arranged in the shape of a butterfly and emerald dangling from it.
Rodriguez also posted a photo of Lopez along with another pic of them kissing in front of the tree, opening the morning looking completely surprised and Lopez wearing the stones. Merry Christmas, everyone,” he captioned the photos. Lopez’s future husband is a specialist in gift-giving; he has also cemented his standing as one of the greatest Instagram husbands in Hollywood.
As Lopez modeled her gorgeous look on the red carpet on Thursday, Rodriguez snaps a few pics of his own and made sure to step to the side while photographers took their photos of the actress.
As she waited to receive her award, Rodriguez shared a sweet selfie during the ceremony from backstage with Jennifer Lopez. He captioned the photograph that he was waiting before Jennifer receives the Palm Springs International Film Festival Spotlight Award. From the moment he first saw @hustlersmovie, he knew that this was a special role. This smashed as Ramona and is deserving. He is constantly in awe of her, as her passion only matches her talent. #Superstar #CongratsBaby #TeAmo.
Hours after that the nominations were announced the celebrity shared an intimate selfie video to her lovers to express her gratitude for the honor. “I’m just waking up, and I just heard that I got nominated,” she said from the recording. She exclaimed that it’d been 20 years since Selena. She’ll see her fans at the Globes! The naming for Hustlers marks her second Globes. She scored her first nomination as the singer Selena in the 1997 biopic of the performer.
